SCREENING PROCESS


We put forward candidates only for positions for which they
appear to be suited by their experience, qualifications and
personality. We only work with professional nannies that have worked for two or more years as a full time nannies and/or hold relevant childcare qualifications. Each candidate that applies to A2Z Childcare submits a detailed application. It includes a complete listing of their childcare experience and a list of references. One of our experienced professionals will get to know you and your family's needs. If you prefer, we can arrange to have one of our representatives to visit you at your home. A2Z Childcare agency will recruit specifically for your position, carefully interview all candidates, verify educational and employment history, and speak with at least 3 childcare references. Each nanny is checked for any past criminal record, (CRB check).
• we check the identity of each candidate against her/his passport, driving licence, birth certificate or ID card
• we check the certificate of qualification
• we check at least 2 references from previous employers
• we check the candidate’s permission to work in the UK


Each candidate must provide the agency with:
• a detailed CV
• a police check(CRB)
• proof of address
• first aid certificate ( candidates with no first aid
certificate will be advised to complete the first aid training
before the placement or maximum 3 months after placed in the family)
 

 

 

We provide
• a detailed CV together with references of the candidates
• copy of the police check (if available at the time)
• copy of the first aid certificate(if available at the time)
• copy of candidate's application
• liaison between clients and nannies to arrange first a
telephone interview followed by a home visit if agreed by both sides
• After securing placement, assistance with organising necessary
documents (e.g. nanny tax, contract of employment, etc.).
